Mister James can be linked to WordPress to automatically publish time-shifted posts via the social media calendar.
In order to be able to establish a link to WordPress, an application password must be created there. To do this, first log in to your WordPress backend and then click on “Users” in the left sidebar. A list of all users for your WordPress account will then appear.
Then click on a user who has permission to publish posts.
Then scroll down until you get to the “Application passwords” section. Then enter the value “Mr. James” in the “Name of the new application password” field and then click on “Add new application password”.
WordPress will then show you a new application password. Copy this to the clipboard.
Then open Mister James and go to settings. There, click on the “Social Media Accounts” item and then on the “New” button at the top right. There, select the “WordPress” entry.
Then enter your web address (without the following slash “/”) in the popup that now appears. As the username, enter the name of the WordPress user for whom you created an application password. In the “Application password” field, copy the application password that you created in the previous step.
Then click OK to save the link. From now on, you can schedule posts on your WordPress site using Mister James' social media calendar.
