Data transfer from towio

Mister James can take over the data from Towio. Offers, invoices, delivery notes, order confirmations, letters, contacts and expenses are accepted.

In order to be able to transfer the data from towio, it is first necessary to generate an API key. This can be found in Towio under “Settings”. Then click on the first point, “Your name”. There you will find the “Generate new API key” button at the very bottom.

After clicking on it and confirming with your own password, an API key is generated.

This can be marked and copied to the clipboard.

In Mister James, there is then the option to transfer data in “Settings”, “Data Transfer”. Click on “Towio” to see the following mask:

Now copy the API key that you created in towio and then click on “Start data transfer”.

It may take some time to transfer data from Towio and a notification will be displayed after completion. Sometimes there are connection problems with the Towio server during the import, which is sometimes unavailable or only partially accessible. If you notice after several hours that not all data has been transferred yet, you can also start the import again. It is then continued at the last stopped position.

important: After importing (also to check a partial import), it is important that you reload Mr. James. To do so, simply click on your browser's refresh button.
